Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to operate owner operator vehicle while providing essential freight delivery services. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight across various locations, supporting our company's logistics operations.

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, to transport freight to designated destinations
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain optimal vehicle performance
  • Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation minimum 18 months verifiable experience .
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
  • Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other routing tools
  • Mostly 1 or 2 nights trips to MI, Oh , PA , NJ , NY OR MID WEST
