What will you do at Novajet?

We are looking for an individual who possesses a strong drive for results and a passion for meeting the needs of our customers in a safety focused environment.

As a flight follower you will monitor flights, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure the smooth and safe operation of flights. Your responsibilities include flight monitoring, communication with the flight crew and air traffic control, flight planning, documentation, emergency response, and compliance with regulations.

What you will bring to Novajet

· Post-secondary education in Aviation Management or similar discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

· Solid interpersonal skills (written and oral).

· Technically proficient with PC and Apple products.

· Ability to retain an RAIC (security pass).

· Well-organized, detail-oriented, efficient time management.

· Customer service oriented.

· Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

●    

Track flights in real-time using various tools and systems. Monitoring the progress, changes of each flight, including departure, enroute, and arrival times, and delays that may impact the flight

●    

Ensure that all ground handling, slots, customs, de-icing, fueling, and other related services are confirmed before a flight departs.

●    

Resolve operational issues that may impact flight delays, cancellations, or diversions. Responding to unscheduled operations such as overdue aircraft, diversions, and inclement weather.

●    

Communicate with the crew, ground staff, clients, and passengers regarding any changes, potential delays, or movement messages. Interface with management, maintenance, accounting, and charter sales.

●    

Accurately maintain and update flight-related documents in the operational system.

●    

Monitor crew duty and rest times.

●    

Participating in the safety management system (SMS).

●    

Performing appropriate functions of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

●    

Understand and fulfill responsibilities with respect to appropriate sections of the FRMS.

●    

Identify, report, and manage any actual or potential risks linked to fatigue.

●    

Using their scheduled time away from work to obtain an amount of sleep sufficient to minimize the risks of fatigue-related accidents and injuries.

●    

Any other duties that may be assigned.

●    

Maintaining training currency and proficiency as required by regulation and the company.

Working Conditions

· Office environment;
4 days on 4 days off, rotational shiftwork

· hours weekly
