Role:
Director of Higher Education Partnerships

Purpose

: Build and scale alliances with universities, colleges and training institutions to create talent pipelines, research collaborations and innovative academic programs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a higher‑education partnership strategy: Establish a roadmap for collaboration with post‑secondary institutions, including co‑developed curricula, dual‑enrolment programs and workforce‑development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities and negotiate agreements: Negotiate and formalise memoranda of understanding, articulation agreements and joint programs that expand student pathways for people with disabilities. Ensure agreements comply with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
  • Cultivate relationships: Build relationships with university presidents, deans, faculty, career‑services leaders and corporate executives to drive enrolment growth and educational access.
  • Coordinate across internal teams: Work closely with admissions, marketing and academic‑affairs teams to maximize the impact of partnerships. Represent EnabledTalent at conferences, industry events and networking forums.
  • Monitor trends and measure impact: Analyze market trends, competitor initiatives and emerging opportunities to inform partnership strategy. Track performance indicators such as enrolment growth, program completion rates and partner satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in education, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • 3 - 7 years in higher education, business development, or institutional partnerships with a strong track record of developing and managing university partnerships, articulation agreements and enrollment growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management and stakeholder‑engagement skills. Experience collaborating with corporate partners, government agencies and workforce‑development programs. Knowledge of higher‑education trends, accreditation standards and student‑success initiatives.
  • Ability to travel for meetings and events. Passion for inclusive education and empowering students with disabilities to succeed.

Compensation and Benefits

EnabledTalent offers competitive compensation within the stated salary band (CAD $70,000 – $100,000, or local equivalent). Final compensation will consider the candidate's experience, role seniority and work location. Benefits will vary by country and may include health/dental coverage, retirement contributions, professional development stipends, paid time off, flexible or remote work options and other region‑specific benefits.
