Class 4 Day Care Van Driver - St Albert




Do you have a Class 4 Drivers License with commercial driving experience and are you looking for a steady part-time job, working three 2 hours shifts daily (6 hours a day) as a bus driver? Kepler wants you on our team

We are looking for part-time drivers to ensure children are safely transported to and from our childcare centres. If you meet the position requirements and are willing to work before & after school transportation, this may be the opportunity for you to work with a passionate team at our organization.
*This position now qualifies for a Government Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.64-$8.62 premium/ hour) depending on your level of ECE certificate. *


Part-Time Hours: 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week. 
Daily Schedule:
Early Morning: 7:30 am - 9:30 am
Late Morning: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Afternoon: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

*School days only, Monday to Friday, no weekends or summer month*

What will you do?

As a Day Care Van Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our childcare centre.

Safely transport school-aged children using a company passenger vehicleAble to drive morning and afternoon shifts to neighbouring schoolsCommunicate clearly with the centre management and staffAssist students in getting on and off the vehicleObey traffic laws at all timeKeep the vehicle clean, fueled, and safePerform vehicle safety inspections before and after each routeOther duties as required


You will possess the following:

1+ year of commercial driving experience. School bus driving experience is an assetAbility to follow instructions and obey traffic lawsAttention to detail and safety is a priority of yours


Qualifications:

Class 4 Full License (non-GDL) with commercial passenger experienceAble to provide Clean 5-year Commercial Driver's AbstractAble to provide a Criminal Record with a Vulnerable Sector Check
