Duties
- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver freight to specified locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment, including basic automotive repairs when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
- Coordinate with dispatchers to confirm schedules, routes, and delivery priorities
- Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight within storage facilities
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during transit or loading/unloading processes
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely (training provided if necessary)
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling
- Prior experience with freight handling or logistics operations is advantageous
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $6,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
