Your role:
Global Relay delivers enterprise services to 23,000 customers in 90 countries, including 22 of the top 25 global banks. Technical Product Managers (TPMs) are part of the Product Management team that is responsible for executing product strategy, prioritizing and aligning roadmaps, and for researching and defining enhancements and upgrades to Global Relay services.
Reporting to a Group Product Manager, the TPM will join the product team responsible for Service Manager, managing and evolving our Administration, Identity and Access Management product capabilities.
You will be responsible for working with customers and internal stakeholders to define your product roadmap and for leading new and updated features through the development process. Working closely with other Product Managers you will ensure roadmaps are clear, prioritized, achievable, and aligned with strategy.
You will define detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for specific features, and collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, Team Leads, Architects, and UI/UX to ensure high quality designs are produced.
You will attend daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies, refine your backlog, plan sprints, monitor progress, report status, and manage key release activities including documentation and training.
Your responsibilities:
Working in a dynamic team environment, the TPM is responsible for:
- Delivery of Service Manager products / components / features in alignment with strategy and the broader company roadmap
- Create, prioritize and communicate the roadmap for your team.
- Create work estimates, track progress, and report status.
- Lead initiatives from roadmap to delivery with minimal support & guidance from the Group Product Manager
- Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills
- Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts
- Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of their system, and how their system interacts with the rest of the platform
- Identify and coordinate cross-component dependencies throughout the development process
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Support, clients, other TPMs to produce and manage their backlog and contribute to the product roadmap
- Collaborate with other TPMs, Architects, UI/UX, and Team Leads to lead requirements through the design phase
- Work with Engineering and other departments to actively seek feedback, remove obstacles blocking progress and ensure program is within schedule.
- Facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other team meetings with your agile team(s)
- Support Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Provisioning, Professional Services, Technical Documentation, Training, and Technical Support throughout the release process with training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities
About you:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience planning, monitoring, and reporting on project status for multiple initiatives/teams
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modelling, workflow design, and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and C-level executives
- Flexible and practical problem solver, able to work effectively in a growing organization.
- Experience with enterprise software and Software-As-A-Service (SaaS)
