Over het bedrijf

Voor een familiebedrijf in het prachtige Saskatchewan zoeken wij meerdere combine chauffeurs. Het akkerbouwbedrijf heeft 5.200 ha en verbouwd tarwe, koolzaad, erwten en vlas.
Er wordt gewerkt met een modern machinepark; 3 New Holland combines en New Holland trekkers. Je maakt deel uit van een hecht team wat in het seizoen vaak aangevuld wordt met leeftijdsgenoten uit verschillende landen. De accommodatie is netjes en bevindt zich op het bedrijf.


Over de functie

Tijdens de oogst zul je voornamelijk op de combine bezig zijn. Natuurlijk help je mee met alle andere voorkomende werkzaamheden tijdens de oogstperiode.

Werkzaamheden

  • Besturen van de New Holland combine

  • Verrichten dagelijks onderhoud en controle aan de combine(s)

  • Grondbewerking na de oogstperiode

  • Overige voorkomende werkzaamheden

Vereisten

 Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je hebt ervaring in de akkerbouw of loonwerk

  • Ervaring met landbouwmachines is gewenst

  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig én in teamverband

  • Goede fysieke conditie en een positieve, flexibele instelling

  • Bereidheid om lange werkdagen te maken

  • Rijbewijs B en T

  • Voor deze functie kom je alleen in aanmerking als je aan de voorwaarden van een Working Holiday of Young Professional visum voldoet
