Position: Temporary Full Time Security Team Lead (5 Months)
Site: Georgetown Hospital
Hours: Continental Rotation / hrs)
Pay Rate: $24.54/hr. - $26.99/hr. "based on the levelling system"
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Description:
Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures Plans and implements shift work schedules Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training Motivates staff and issues commendations Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office Attendance Management Performs security audits Documents and investigates security incidents and complaintsProvide proactive and reactive security patrols. Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerRequirements:
A Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseA Valid Standard First AID CPR C Certificate (From a WSIB Approved Organization)Proof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step Tuberculosis skin testCovid Vaccine two dosesMust be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the trainingVulnerable Sector CheckEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a mustAt least one year of security experience in a team lead role Minimum two year of security experience in healthcare environmentPost-Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized collegeWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacyLegally authorized to work in Canada Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
