Faroex, located in Gimli, Manitoba, is a manufacturer of plastic and composite products for the Agriculture, Alternative Energy, and Mass Transportation markets.

We are currently seeking full-time employees to fill the following positions:

General Labour (includes Finishing), for the 12 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. shift (Monday-Friday).

**Training will occur for approx. 4 to 8 weeks on the evening shift (4 p.m. to 12:20 a.m., Monday-Friday)

Job Duties:

  • Carry out finishing and assembly operations on composite products using industrial equipment and power tools (cutting, drilling, sanding, shaping)
  • Inspect and measure products to meet quality criteria
  • Handle and package composite products
  • General cleaning and housekeeping in a safe working environment for a long-term company.
  • Other miscellaneous manufacturing related duties in an industrial setting.

Job Qualifications:

  • A Proven track record of excellent past job attendance and punctuality (we need you to arrive at work on-time and put in a full 40 hours a week on a regular basis)
  • A reliable means of transportation to and from work (this is critical to achieving an excellent attendance record)
  • Physically able to carry out manufacturing duties while working in an industrial plant in a safe manner at all times (the job will require you to walk, reach, bend, twist, grasp, and comfortably lift up to 50lbs. at times, and we want you to do so without getting injured)
  • Comfortable working in an industrial plant setting (with exposure to dust, heat and cold at times)
  • Steel toe boots required on Day 1.

Starting wage: $17.60/hr. (increases to $18.21/hr. Dec.16/25)

Wage After 1 Yr. Service: $18.63/hr.

Compensation includes:

  • An excellent health benefits package after probation (520 hrs. worked)
  • $1.25/ hr Shift Premium for the 12 am to 8:20 am night shift.
  • Opportunity for overtime work.
  • Boot / Safety Allowance after probationary period (520 hrs. worked) is completed ($225 per calendar year).
  • Opportunity for training and job advancement to other classifications
  • RRSP plan after 2 years of employment.
