North 49 Brands is a fast-growing Canadian company specializing in fitness equipment, e-commerce, and lifestyle brands. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Product Photographer to join our team and help elevate our visual content across multiple brands.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional who can produce high-quality product photography and engaging video content tailored for e-commerce, social media growth, and digital advertising. The ideal candidate can take projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision and understands how to create content that drives engagement and conversions.

Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Videography

  • Capture high-quality product photography for websites, banners, and marketing campaigns
  • Shoot, edit, and deliver engaging product videos, promotional ads, and storytelling content
  • Plan and create social media growth videos designed to increase engagement, followers, and reach (Reels, TikTok-style videos, YouTube Shorts)
  • Maintain consistent brand style across all assets
  • Set up studio lighting, backgrounds, and staging for optimal results
  • Edit content with strong colour grading and clean transitions

Social Media Content Creation

  • Develop short-form videos tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Create content that aligns with marketing goals and seasonal campaigns
  • Stay updated on social media trends, soundtracks, styles, and storytelling approaches
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ideate and execute high-performing content strategies

Content Management

  • Organize, catalogue, and manage digital assets
  • Deliver visuals optimized for Shopify, paid ads, and website use

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in product photography and professional video production
  • Strong ability to create short-form social media videos
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Understanding of lighting, composition, and colour grading
  • Ability to storyboard, plan, shoot, and edit independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

(Not mandatory but an asset)

  • Experience with Shopify (image optimization, product setup)
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Basic motion graphics or graphic design
  • Understanding of e-commerce content best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
