Role Overview

We are seeking a General Manager with a strong background in both operations and project management to lead and scale our service delivery. This role combines oversight of day-to-day field operations, strategic resource planning, and hands-on management of project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

You'll work closely with ownership to drive performance, ensure job quality, support proposal and quoting efforts, and help solidify our reputation as a leader in plumbing rehabilitation and condo-focused services.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day field operations across all active service and renewal projects
  • Oversee scheduling, crew deployment, equipment utilization, and inventory coordination
  • Implement and refine SOPs for efficient service delivery and jobsite safety
  • Ensure smooth communication between office and field teams

Project Management

  • Take ownership of project execution—from site mobilization to completion
  • Develop and track timelines, budgets, manpower, and material needs
  • Handle change orders, job costing, and project reporting
  • Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and technical requirements

Client & Industry Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with property managers, engineers, and condo boards
  • Represent the company on walkthroughs, meetings, and progress updates
  • Assist in the proposal and quoting process, including scope review, pricing input, and site assessments

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and coach technicians, subcontractors, and coordinators
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance tracking
  • Help build a strong culture of professionalism and accountability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in plumbing, mechanical contracting, or building services, with a mix of operational and project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of high-rise buildings, sanitary systems, stack cleaning, and non-invasive pipe renewal methods
  • Previous experience working with property managers and condo boards
  • Comfortable managing multiple crews, timelines, and client demands concurrently
  • Strong estimating, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with job costing, quoting tools, and scheduling software
  • Valid G-class driver's license and working knowledge of the GTA
