We are seeking an experienced
Director of Travel Operations
to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and performance excellence across our travel services portfolio.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
This senior leadership role is responsible for driving operational strategy, ensuring service excellence, strengthening partner relationships, and scaling travel operations in line with Aerocone's growth objectives in Canada and international markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all travel operations across Aerocone Travels Canada Inc.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve operational frameworks, policies, and service standards.
- Oversee end-to-end travel operations including planning, bookings, vendor coordination, service delivery, and post-travel support.
- Lead and manage relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, logistics partners, and service vendors.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian travel regulations, contractual obligations, and internal governance standards.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs, service benchmarks, and quality assurance metrics.
- Drive efficiency, risk management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, sales, and client service teams to support business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.
- Manage escalations, service disruptions, and client concerns with professionalism and accountability.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, Operations Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree is an asset).
- Significant senior-level experience in travel operations, tourism management, or service-based operational leadership.
- Strong understanding of Canadian and international travel operations, vendor management, and compliance.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills.
