We're looking for Junior / Assistant Pastry Cooks to join our growing team. If you're passionate about baking, have a sharp eye for detail, and love working in a creative kitchen, we'd love to meet you.

Duties

  • Assist in daily production of buns, cookies, pastries and cakes according to recipes and standards
  • Support mise en place and accurate scaling of ingredients
  • Perform dough shaping, piping, baking, decorating and finishing tasks with minimum supervision
  • Help maintain product consistency, freshness, and presentation quality
  • Uphold cleanliness, organization, and food-safety best practices at all times
  • Assist with new product development or special orders
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service, smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional pastry or bakery environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Solid knowledge of food handling techniques and safety protocols
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
  • Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude are a must
  • A passion for artisanal baking and willingness to learn and grow
  • Able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
