What You Bring…

  • Current Ontario Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse Certificate of Competence.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in geriatrics and Infection Prevention and Control in a health care setting.
  • Completing an IPAC Canada-endorsed Infection Prevention and Control post-secondary course or equivalent.
  • A certificate in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) is required
  • Demonstrated leadership, teaching, critical thinking and administrative ability.
  • Working knowledge of the Compliance Management Program and Quality Improvement tools and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and computer skills).
  • Familiar with regulations pertaining to WHMIS and able to successfully complete the WHMIS test.
  • Proof of complete vaccination is mandatory.

This is a temporary position of approximately 12 months in duration. The hours will be shared between two locations, Listowel and Tavistock. The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
