We are looking for caring, diligent, and reliable Housekeepers to join our growing team and support Long-Term Care and Retirement facilities in Tavistock, Ontario. If you take pride in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for seniors, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and waste removal.
- Maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established cleaning standards.
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) best practices.
- Safely handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in accordance with WHMIS guidelines.
- Assist the facility team as needed to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and resident comfort.
- Previous housekeeping experience in Long-Term Care or Retirement Homes (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of proper WHMIS procedures.
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Professional, flexible, and positive attitude.
