Job description (internal)

As a key player of the Site Services team, you will be maintaining and upgrading critical systems. You will tackle a variety of challenges, from maintaining and repairing systems, to handling new installations and upgrades at site. If you are ready for a challenge, we invite you to apply

Responsibilities include: 

· Performs maintenance and repairs to water and sewer, oil, gas, propane, refrigeration and HVAC equipment

· Perform new installations and modifications/repairs to existing on-site facilities

· Work with vendors to troubleshoot repairs and collect part information as required

· Use SAP to generate notifications, work orders, purchase requisitions and other related transactions 

· Act as relief for the Mill Maintenance Plumber/Pipefitter as required

· Responsible for adherence to all applicable codes

· May be expected to operate some medium-duty equipment including personnel bus

· Other duties including labour support as requested by supervisor

Work Location & Schedule: 

· McClean Lake

· day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule

· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required

Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Tuesday

Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.


Skills and Qualifications (internal)

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:

· Interprovincial Journeyperson Plumber

· Saskatchewan General Gas Fitters ticket is mandatory

· years of Industrial maintenance experience is preferred

· Possess furnace and refrigeration training certificates or equivalent experience

· Knowledge of all applicable pipefitting and gas fitting codes

· Experience with industrial piping materials such as sclair, CPVC, stainless steel and victaulic piping is an asset

· Experience with SAP is an asset

· Ability to follow piping diagrams

· Class 2 driver's license is an asset

· Priority will be given to residents of the Saskatchewan's North
