Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, inventory handling, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. You will work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (no weekends, day shift only) with an hour off for lunch.

Location: Concord, ON (Hwy 400 & 7). This role requires the candidate to work out of the regional office at 441 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip and load trailers using a forklift.
• Pick and check orders using a forklift and automated pallet wrapper.
• Prepare products for shipping, labelling of filters and a various assortment of value-added services that we offer to our customers.
• Process small parcel shipments thru Purolator, UPS, Fedex, Dicom, etc. as well as on-site pick ups for local clients.
• Take initiative on keeping the warehouse clean and organized (we run a motorized floor washer once a week to maintain a clean environment).
• Coordinate and book trucks for shipping goods via email.
• Give back-up support for others on your warehouse team.
• Safe and knowledgeable operation of all power material handling equipment is required (forklift truck, stretch wrapper, powered floor washer, industrial vacuum cleaner, hydraulic dock plates, powered overhead doors).
• Perform all aspects of warehouse duties, as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (required)
• Valid forklift certification and experience with reach and counterbalance forklifts (preferred)
• Familiarity with courier shipping platforms (UPS, Purolator, FedEx and other couriers)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual handling
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
