Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers as well as assisting with take out orders as well as catering orders. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time will contribute to a positive experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process customers orders effectively with hand written methods.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
  • Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the take out station and surrounding areas.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills through effective phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and packaging of take out food during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong basic communication skills
  • Bilingualism highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively.(French and English)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with menu items

This job requires you to be available to work both day shift and night shifts 7 days a week, shifts switch weekly so full time availability is preferred
