Job Description:

Ace Trades and Technical Institute is seeking an experienced Mechanical Trades worker and Instructor to teach the Mechanical Trades Sampler Program, covering the following trades:

  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
  • Gasfitter A&B
  • Steamfitter/Pipefitter
  • Metal Sheet Worker

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in the Mechanical Trades Sampler Program, particularly in the trades mentioned above.
  • Certification: Red Seal certification is not required for this position.
  • Teaching Experience: Previous experience in teaching or training within the mechanical trades field is preferred.
  • Skills: A caring and supportive teaching approach to ensure student success.
  • Availability: Able to commit to a 12-week contract, with 20 hours of teaching per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive instruction in the specified mechanical trades.
  • Provide a supportive learning environment to facilitate student success.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
