Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. Experience with various POS systems, fine dining, and food safety standards is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food service industry.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed in compliance with health regulations
  • Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain a clean dining environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster positive guest relations
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and other restaurant operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively through suggestive selling techniques
  • Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and making change accurately
  • Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or hospitality is advantageous
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous nightclub or food industry experience is beneficial
