Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and ensuring that food preparation runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your contributions will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
  • Support the cooking team by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
  • Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed to ensure a smooth flow of service.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
  • Participate in catering events or banquets as required, assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering is a plus.
  • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
