Role Overview
The Sales & Growth Manager (SGM) plays a pivotal role in expanding Biomatik's market presence and revenue across both catalog and custom research product lines. This position combines technical consultative sales, active account management, and strategic business development. The SGM is responsible for driving revenue growth through lead generation, sales execution, and marketing collaboration, while expanding Biomatik's customer base and fostering long-term relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Biomatik's research products and services, including custom offerings (gene, peptide, protein, and antibody services) and catalog products (ELISA kits, proteins, antibodies, and biochemicals).
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximize satisfaction, retention, and revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by exploring markets, generating leads, contacting prospects, and following up on quotes and proposals.
- Close sales by overcoming objections and converting opportunities into orders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales or profit targets.
- Coordinate with the Sales Operations Team to ensure smooth order processing, billing, and shipping.
- Provide market feedback to inform pricing, promotions, and product positioning.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
Key Metrics of Success
- Growth in total sales revenue.
- Number and value of new accounts acquired.
- Conversion rate from quotation to order.
- Customer retention and repeat purchase rate.
- Timely and accurate follow-up of leads and quotes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing.
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in life sciences.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) and lead-tracking tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business sense with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
