Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality expertise and contribute to a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with proper cash handling procedures
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously through effective time management
  • Assist in setting up dining areas for service and cleaning up after shifts

Qualifications

*French proficiency required

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food industry service roles preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Ability to serve guests courteously and professionally in a hospitality setting
  • Basic understanding of food service operations and responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
