About The Role
The primary role of the position is to assist the Division Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Endoscopy Division. The incumbent will be based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop professionally as a sales representative by gaining practical knowledge and sales techniques. Be able to handle various situations and possess general knowledge of the medical device sector (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit Boston Scientific customers or potential customers regularly and according to a planned schedule to promote the company's products and services, with the goal of meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as agreed upon with the manager.
  • Under the general supervision of the manager, manage existing customers and acquire new ones within the assigned territory.
  • Following the manager's general guidelines, plan and develop the market for current and new products in line with the division's goals and objectives, while making optimal use of available tools (consignment, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the Endo Suite.
  • Build a broad range of business relationships with hospital leadership, purchasing departments, and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report market and industry feedback to the manager or other stakeholders (on a monthly and annual basis) using all available support tools.
  • Uphold Boston Scientific's values and integrity.
  • Lead a medium-sized project team upon request.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of sales experience — in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, software, or consumer products. Preferably experience in industries with short sales cycles where direct sales to professionals are required and compensation is performance-based.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans.
  • Proven ability to absorb technical and clinical knowledge, as well as product knowledge, and communicate it effectively to healthcare professionals at all levels.
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Maintains a positive attitude toward the job, teamwork, and representing the company's image to our customers.
  • Good understanding of the hospital environment.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
