Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced food service environment, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
  • Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in hospitality or food industry roles is advantageous
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
