Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of construction projects. This role leads all detailed tenders and bid submissions. The Senior Estimator ensures estimates align with project scope, schedule, and client expectations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability and risk management. The estimator also constantly reviews actual costs incurred in projects and includes this feedback in estimates.

Key Responsibilities

· Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.

· Lead the estimating process for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.

· Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to obtain competitive pricing and ensure reliable market data.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities constructability analysis.

· Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution strategies.

· Prepare and present estimate summaries, clarifications, and recommendations for review by management.

· Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the estimating team.

· Maintain and update cost databases, estimating templates, and historical project information.

Qualifications

· Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
