We are seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Design Assistant consultant to join our interior design team specializing in residential interior design and decorating. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD software.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist developing design concepts and presentations.

- Create detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.

- Collaborate with team members to produce design documentation, including floor plans, and elevations.

- Capability to create 3D Renderings an asset, but not required.

- Conduct research on materials and products.

- Assist with sourcing and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and materials.

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

- Participate in site visits and client meetings as needed, with some in-office days (Etobicoke) but most of the work is from home.

- Maintain organized project files and documentation via Dropbox.

**Qualifications:**

- Completed Education in Interior Design or a related field.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (and must have own computer with the program).

-Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (and must have own computer with the program).

- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software an asset, but not required.

- Familiarity with fashion design principles and trends.

- Excellent visual and spatial awareness.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
