What We Offer:

  • In-person role at our Burnaby, BC office with no less than 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Produce clean, accurate, build-ready shop drawings for custom architectural millwork
  • Interpret architectural and conceptual drawings and convert them into workable details
  • Develop technical details, sections, elevations, and material listings
  • Prepare nesting files for CNC output, and cutlists (Microvellum/ARDIS)
  • Ensure drawings align with scope, manufacturing standards, and production requirements
  • Maintain internal documentation, revisions, and database entries
  • Assist in solving design/manufacturing challenges before they hit the shop floor

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years experience drafting architectural millwork in a professional shop (6+ person shop preferred)
  • Strong ability to read/interpret architectural drawings
  • Proven skill in creating precise, functional shop drawings
  • Working knowledge of AWMAC/NAAWS standards
  • Strong organizational systems and follow-through
  • Experience with Microvellum, Wood CAD/CAM, or Cabinet Vision (Microvellum & ARDIS preferred – training provided if needed)
  • Familiar with CNC concepts: nesting, toolpaths, and cut optimization
  • High attention to detail and solid organization
  • Punctual, consistent, and team-oriented
  • 2+ years hands-on experience building commercial millwork in a professional shop is ideal but not essential

Location:

Our office and production facility are located on Norland Avenue in Burnaby, BC. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
