Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Compliance Supervisor role located in Ottawa, ON. The appointed individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supervising internal compliance operations, and conducting auditing procedures. In addition, the Senior Compliance Supervisor will analyze and report compliance risks, implement regulatory policies, and oversee staff training related to compliance matters. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to maintain a high level of adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to manage and guide teams effectively
  • Proficiency in Regulatory Compliance and a thorough understanding of relevant industry standards
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate processes, identify potential risks, and recommend actionable improvements
  • Experience in Training and educating staff on compliance policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Auditing to assess and ensure adherence to internal and external regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Advanced certifications in compliance are a plus)
  • Proven experience in a compliance or supervisory role within financial services
