Duties

  • Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry standards

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
  • Experience with automotive repair software is a plus
  • Capable of heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety standards

This position is ideal for candidates passionate about automotive technology who are committed to delivering quality service. Prior experience in dealership settings or with specialized skills such as welding will be considered advantageous.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
