Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team In this role, you are responsible for creating memorable guest experiences while performing all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and a quality work environment, while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in an environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and positive energy.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and clean-up for events such as banquets or catering functions.
  • Engage with guests to promote menu items, upsell specials, and enhance overall customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • To open/close the bar according to standard (cleanliness, properly stocked, organized).

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws; bartenders should hold valid certifications if required.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
