Apex Precision Inc. is a manufacturer of complex, precision parts and assemblies for the aerospace, defense and medical industry. We aim to provide excellent customer service and exceptional quality. The Planner & Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the voice of the customer at Apex Precision Inc. They act as a liaison between the departments of sales, finance, production, procurement, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and follow-up on customer requests and inquiries. Including updates on order and delivery status.
  • Enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system (JobBoss).
  • Plan production and delivery dates by coordinating with internal departments to meet customer deadlines.
  • Make purchasing requests for material, hardware, and third-party services based on orders and forecasts.
  • Review and track customer forecasts and adjust production requests accordingly.
  • Coordinate material, tooling, fixtures, programming, and equipment status and update the detailed production plan daily.
  • Develop, manage, and track KPI dashboards.
  • Identify and take ownership of continuous improvement projects.
  • Other related tasks or projects.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3 to 5 years minimum of experience in customer service and manufacturing planning.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in machining or CNC programming is an asset.
  • Must be bilingual; French and English both written and spoken. English is required to support customers and contacts outside of Quebec and Canada.
  • Strong ability to manage customer relationships and resolve concerns with empathy, urgency, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Good computer skills (Office suite mainly Excel and Access, ERP).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data and support continuous improvement.
