The Candidate and Responsibilities
The Coop Student, Financial Reporting position is based out of Vancouver.
Applicants for this position will be self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, and able to build trusting relationships.
The candidate will report to Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, and work in conjunction with all departments across Hungerford Properties in the execution of FP&A functions.
The Coop Student, Financial Reporting, will be active in the following primary responsibilities both in an individual and team setting:
Key responsibilities
- Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all departmental tasks and procedures
- Roll forward Excel workbooks, including adjusting formulas, links and references for the reporting quarter
- Validate and correct data links in Excel workbooks
- Assist in compiling reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensure their accuracy
- Assist in automating, streamlining and optimizing existing working files
- Assist in maintaining the quarterly reporting calendar, tracking key deadlines and deliverables
- Facilitate effective cross-departmental communication, ensuring timely follow-up
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the team

Our Compensation & Benefits Philosophy
The typical hiring range for this position is $27 per hour. The actual offered rate may vary and will depend on individual experience, qualifications, and market condidtions for the role. We are also pleased to offer the following benefits:
