Position Overview

SteriPro Canada is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to drive growth within the Ontario healthcare market.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at building trusted relationships and providing consultative, value-based solutions to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions.

The successful candidate will primarily promote SteriPro's partnered portfolio of Dr. Weigert medical device reprocessing chemistry (detergent) solutions (neodisher product solutions ), supporting our mission to improve cleaning outcomes, process efficiency, and patient safety in medical reprocessing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare decision-makers, including MDRD/Reprocessing Managers, OR Managers, Infection Control staff, Facility Engineers, Purchasing Managers, and Clinicians.
  • Present and promote Dr. Weigert reprocessing chemistry and SteriPro's related service portfolio, emphasizing sustainable and efficient cleaning solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored product and service solutions that enhance quality and compliance in medical device reprocessing.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal product performance.
  • Assist management in executing contracts with hospitals, health networks, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
  • Organize and deliver educational events such as Lunch & Learn sessions, product demonstrations, and technical workshops for healthcare professionals.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, company meetings, and training programs to stay current with market and product developments.
  • Research and analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to support business strategy.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and territory analyses for management review.
  • Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets while maintaining an accurate and active sales pipeline.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in healthcare, business, or life sciences is an asset.
  • Proven success in medical or healthcare sales, ideally involving reprocessing detergents, chemistry products, or sterilization systems.
  • Strong professional network and relationships within Ontario's hospital and healthcare systems.
  • Solid understanding of medical instrument reprocessing terminology, hospital procurement processes, and infection-prevention protocols.
  • Excellent consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a territory-based role.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently across the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/sales tracking systems.
  • Dedicated to customer service excellence, continuous learning, and promoting best practices in reprocessing.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent travel to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities across Ontario.
  • Participation in industry events, workshops, and training programs as required.
  • Flexibility to support customers after hours or on weekends when necessary.
  • Balance of field-based and administrative responsibilities.
