Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Supervisor role located in Whitby, ON. The Supervisor will support daily operational excellence by supervising store activities, maintaining customer service standards, and ensuring team members meet sales and performance goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, assisting in training and coaching associates, monitoring store compliance with company policies, supporting merchandising and marketing strategies, and fostering a collaborative team environment that contributes to an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven skills in supervising and coaching teams, facilitating collaboration, and driving team performance to achieve business goals.
- Customer Service and Sales: Strong customer-focused mentality and ability to promote exceptional customer service, with experience in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Operational Efficiency: Experience in managing inventory, ensuring operational compliance, and executing store procedures effectively and accurately.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail or related customer-facing role is preferred.
- Flexibility and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, resolve operational challenges effectively, and ensure a smooth workflow.
