A1 Pest Solutions Inc is looking for a full time pest control technician to join our team based in Winnipeg (Springfield / Sunnyside), Manitoba servicing the Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

As a pest control technician, you would be responsible for solving pest problems - rodent and insect in a variety of residential and commercial settings. Although being licensed and pest control experience is preferred it is not required, we offer on the job training. Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conducting inspections and pest identification
- Assist in sales opportunities
- Develop and deliver pest control solutions for residential and commercial clients according to safe work procedures and industry regulations
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition
- Application of pesticides according to label instructions and safety procedures
- Perform other related tasks to pest control, vacuuming, clean up etc
- Accurate and thorough completion of required reporting documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Grade 12 Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to successfully write the Manitoba Pesticide Applicator’s licensing exams, previous experience and Manitoba licensure is considered an asset
- **MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA**
- Valid Manitoba class 5 Driver’s License with clear driver’s abstract
- Must be able to provide a clear criminal record / vulnerable sector check
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required
- Passion for customer service
- Positive attitude
- Must have the ability to fluently read, comprehend and effectively communicate both verbally and written in English due to pesticide certification and licensing
- Ability to establish priorities work independently and as a team member
- Strong attention to details and high level of commitment
- Must be physically capable of performing duties which may include lifting, crouching, kneeling, reaching, walking, and standing
- Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces, heights, dusty locations, freezing or hot conditions
