We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience preferred, and possess excellent mechanical knowledge. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure safety and optimal performance. Duties

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
  • Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Keep detailed records of repairs and services performed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems
  • Dealership experience is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license is required
