Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with experience working in dealership environments preferred. This role involves performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Candidates should possess excellent mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service is essential for success in this position.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using mechanical expertise and diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
  • Lift heavy components or vehicles as required for repairs or inspections
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and work performed
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and addressing customer questions

Skills

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
  • Dealership experience is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
  • Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.49-$46.09 per hour
