Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves providing care and support to children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through various activities. A live-in arrangement is available for the right candidate, with comfortable accommodation provided.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the childcare environment, including cleaning play areas, toys, and equipment.
  • Assist with morning and bedtime routines, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Assist with homework and provide tutoring as needed to support children's academic growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.

Skills

  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
  • Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks.
  • Excellent cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for children.
  • Ability to provide caregiving that promotes emotional and physical well-being.
  • Teaching skills that foster learning through play and structured activities.
