Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Touchbistro POS. The Bartender will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining food safety standards and adhering to responsible serving practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like Touchbistro POS
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
  • Monitor guest consumption levels and intervene as necessary to promote responsible drinking
  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or food service environment is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Smart-Serve Certified
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
