Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the store's success.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers effectively
  • Engage in upselling and suggest additional products to maximize sales opportunities
  • Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
  • Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays to attract customer attention
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed during shifts
  • Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
  • Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or product demos preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Time management skills to prioritize daily responsibilities efficiently
  • Ability to perform merchandising duties and operate retail equipment such as scanners and registers
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional communication with customers
