Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of our shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient shop operations to meet sales goals and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

1. Equipment & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate collection and drop-off of equipment at various job sites.
  • Track inventory and arrange ordering and/or pickup of all equipment and supplies.
  • Sign equipment and supplies in and out on a daily basis.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment.
  • Install and remove EV chargers daily, as required.
  • Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts of all company equipment (September, December, March, June).
  • Cross-reference counts with the official inventory log.
  • Document accurate storage locations for all items.

2. Fleet & Transportation

  • Track and arrange fleet vehicle maintenance
  • Arrange / Conduct vehicle Inspections
  • Ensure company vehicles are kept clean.
  • Transport crews to and from job sites when required.

3. Warehouse & Yard Operations

  • Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard in accordance with safety standards.
  • Ensure yard bins are emptied in a timely manner.
  • Sort misplaced garbage and cardboard appropriately.
  • Empty cardboard recycling bins in the lunchroom.
  • Perform Eco Station disposal runs as required.
  • Deliver appliances and scrap metal to recycling facilities.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Restock and maintain:
  • First aid kits
  • Eye wash stations
  • Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) stations
  • Ensure all safety areas meet regulatory and company standards.

5. Stock & Supply Management

  • Stock and replenish consumable materials.
  • Track Inventory for consumables
  • Order and maintain inventory of:
  • Toiletries
  • Coffee, creamer, and sugar

6. Administrative & Management Support

  • Assist Project Managers and Senior Management with operational requests as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
