Job Posting: Sheet Metal Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Sheet Metal Technician to join our team in the plumbing and heating industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC systems, ductwork fabrication and installation, and a solid understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products for residential and commercial HVAC systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
  • Operate hand and power tools such as shears, press brakes, and welding equipment.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman certification or apprentice in Sheet Metal (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and air handling equipment is a strong asset.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
