Established in 2015, CE Solutions Ltd. is a growing SaaS, custom software development, and web design company based in Hinton, AB. Our clients vary from industrial to retail businesses throughout Alberta. CE Solutions' SaaS products focus on providing oilfield transportation companies cost effective, cloud based solutions to help digitize tickets, work orders, time cards, and safety forms.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce and maintain clean, efficient code based on specifications;
  • Work with other developers to design algorithms and flowcharts;
  • Designing and executing manual tests based off of product requirements set by the Team Lead;
  • Documenting results of manual tests;
  • Maintaining communication with coworkers on the status of ongoing development and tests;
  • Responding to, and working on, bugs and issues submitted by users;
  • Reproducing and documenting errors and bugs in a testing environment;
  • Collaborating with team members to implement new application features;
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software;
  • Recommend and execute improvements;
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting;
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends;
  • Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with software;
  • Respond to IT inquiries via email and phone and travel to customer locations to resolve IT issues;
  • Troubleshoot & implement computer hardware and software;
  • Troubleshoot networking issues;
  • Assisting with the design/development of websites;

Education (not required, but an asset):

  • Post secondary degree, diploma, or certificate. Preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

Experience (not required, but an asset):

  • 1-3 years experience with a front-end framework such as Vue, React, or Angular;
  • 1-3 years experience with a BaaS, or related platform, such as Supabase, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure;
  • 1-3 years experience with Javascript;
  • 1-3 years experience with NoSQL databases such as Firestore or MongoDB;
  • Wordpress experience an asset;
  • Website design experience an asset;
  • Experience with C#.NET an asset;
  • Experience with ASP.NET an asset;
  • Experience with Express APIs an asset;
  • Experience with Git an asset;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
