Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
  • Assist in food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality standards are met
  • Serve food items with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
  • Experience with food handling, preparation, and safety protocols is desirable
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Food service or serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
