**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar area, equipment, and dining spaces to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management for restocking.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong cashiering skills with experience using POS systems.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Experiences**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operating a commercial espresso machine is required

Pay: $16.00 per hour
