Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, compassionate patient counseling to support safe medication use.
  • Safely and accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage all aspects of dispensary operations, including prescription entry, processing, and verification.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients with complex needs.
  • Maintain pharmacy compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Previous experience in retail pharmacy is highly desirable.
  • Experience in renal pharmacy or managing complex disease states is an asset.
  • Experience with compounding is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient with pharmacy software systems and general computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
