Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and promoting our products. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, flexible schedule, and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Exhibit effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during shifts.
  • Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone or in-store communication.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in convenience store sales or cashiering is preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
  • Organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility is advantageous.
