Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems in various building projects. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in construction or insulation work is preferred, along with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and the use of hand tools. The Insulator plays a vital role in ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met across projects.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit designated areas according to project specifications
• Install insulation using appropriate techniques, including caulking and fastening with hand tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine insulation placement
• Use hand tools such as knives, saws, and drills to secure insulation materials properly
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
• Assist in the preparation of work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools
• Perform routine inspections of installed insulation to identify any issues or deficiencies
• Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Skills

• Proficiency in caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively
• Experience with hand tools used in insulation installation and general construction tasks
• Knowledge of construction practices, safety procedures, and building codes
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance
