Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Insulation Helper. The Insulation Helper assists spray foam installers or blow in installers with the installation of spray foam or loose fill insulation in a safe and efficient manner. The Insulation Helper will follow the instruction of the supervisor to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe working environment by following Yvon's health and safety guidelines.
  • Assists spray foam crew and install batt and poly and blown-in insulation for residential and commercial projects.
  • Prepares job sites and ensures all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Setting up and maintaining equipment in good working order, ensuring workspaces are clean and organized before and after each job.
  • Adhering to all workplace safety laws and regulations, including the OHSA of Ontario and company safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring all work in completed efficiently, maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship and conducting visual inspections to ensure insulation meeting required standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Greater than one year of experience in a similar capacity

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs.
  • Standing, Squatting frequently.
  • Frequently climbing up and downstairs.
